janetandclint Mary's on the Malecon is awesome. When we stayed there one week, we ate there at least five times. You can spend as little as 1.50 for one fish taco or $40 for a gigantic seafood plate that feeds four.

The wait staff is marvelous. The view is perfect.
Zen Garlic fish at the Friendly Dolphin, yum! I really like the "chips" they provide while you are waiting for your food.
Daniel I had a great breakfast buffet at the REEF.
Vera Always go where the local Mexicans go. When you see a taco stand jammed with Mexicans you have found your spot. There are also sit down restaurants were the local Mexicans go. Seek these out always. It takes time but is really worth the effort. After all why travel hundereds of miles just to eat in a place that serves the same food you had back home & is actually owned by Americans!
