Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco): Coffee Shops

Looking for a place to have a good coffee and mexican pastries in Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco)?

For better or worse, Rocky Point still does not have a Starbucks.

Probably the most notorious breakfast spot in Rocky Point is Max's Café, located at the far end of Calle 13.  Max's is a favorite hang out for the "local gringos" and serves breakfast and lunch.  Maxis offers WiFi.

Vacation in Mexico

Live in MexicoAnother "landmark" coffee shop in town is Santanas.  The coffee shop has cleverly designed their sign to look like a Starbucks from afar yet with you arrive it is actually Poncho Villa.  The good news is Santana's coffee is equal if not better than Starbucks, and at a fraction of the price.  The proprietors are always friendly.

Coffee shops and other breakfast spots are popping up all over Rocky Point every month.  As the different  sections of  Rocky Point become established, so to do local coffee shops take hold.

Internet cafés can also be found almost everywhere.  Some are in well established restaurants, but others are basically the living room of nearby residents.
