Posada La Roca was a gangster hideout back in the day when Al Capone turned Penasco into an experiment in non-US gambling/alcohol racketeering. Today it is a hotel. Rumor has it the building has some 'interesting' subterranean structural features because of this but I haven't checked it out yet. Can't wait. :)
