Chonga’s Sports Bar will be the site of Roger Clyne’s June 2009 Circus Mexicus concert in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Located next to Las Palmas Beachfront Resort, and the Sonoran Spa and Sonoran Sea Resorts on Sandy Beach, the new venue promises to be a great improvement for concert goers.

 

Mike Tobin, manager of Chongo’s explains that the concert will take place in a vacant lot adjacent to Chongo’s. “We have a large area that can accommodate all of Roger’s fans, directly across from the bar. The location is within walking distance of three great resorts and we hope this is the first of many concerts by The Peacemakers.”

 

Also on the venue, Dead Rock West, from Los Angeles will opening at 7pm on Saturday night. This intense and mysterious five-member Americana band blends roots rock melodies with a punk rock attitude. You can find out more about them at www.deadrockwest.com.
