Rocky Point, Puerto Penasco, continues strong!!

First of all, on behalf of our entire puerto-penasco.com staff, we want to apologize for not posting any news for about 8 weeks now. We have been extremely busy, but that is no excuse...our true apologies. We are back on news track and here to stay!

Over the last few weeks and months, the media has done its job at covering many happenings in Mexico including good news about the peaceful town of Rocky Point, Puerto Penasco. It was encouraging to see that this beautiful town in the Sea of Cortez was not in anyway under any US travel warning.

Finally, as the economy is slowly recovering so its the town of Rocky Point. This fishing village and beautiful beach area has been struggling to stay a float from the decrease of tourism. However, over the last 6 months it really has taking a complete turn. Rocky Point, Puerto Penasco, is now back on track to continue to be a great travel destination for families that are looking for a quick scape to the ocean and simply go there to relax and enjoy!

During the Easter Holiday, Rocky Point was over 100% capacity....yes, it was completely full both resorts and hotels. It was really hard or nearly impossible to find accommodations for anyone calling a week before Easter week. It was unbelievable. There were people from everywhere!!!
