El clima en Puerto Penasco es muy parecido a todo el resto del Southwest de Estados Unidos. Las temperatures pueden variar entre 50-100 grados Fahrenheit dependiendo de la epoca y de vez en cuando pueden haber tormentas que refrescan el pueblo de Puerto Penasco.
En la region de Sonora, caracterizada como desierto pero al lado del mar, las temperaturas puden variar bastante entre el dia y la noche. Los dias son calurosos y las noches se reciben con una brisa de aire fresco y frio!
De Enero a Mayo - 'Primavera' - Las temperaturas estan entre 60-80 grados Fahrenheit.
De Mayo a Agosto - 'Verano' - Las temperaturas estan entre 80-105 grados Fahrenheit. En dias de verano la humedad puede ser bastante alta.
De Agosto a Diciembre - 'Otono/Invierno' - Las temperaturas estan entre 60-75 grados Fahrenheit, con lluvias de vez en cuando.
Las lluvias durante el verano en la region de Sonora no duran mucho pero son bastante torrenciales. Se llaman "monsoons".
