Yes, we confess, Agua de Coco is our favorite band, and that is why we write so much about them, not only because they are great at what they do, but also because we are sure that you’ll have an amazing time going wherever they perform.
This season Agua de Coco has a whole new Schedule of presentations and we are very interested in giving you the heads up so you can enjoy their great music when visiting Rocky Point.
For this Spring and Summer 2013, Agua de Coco is introducing a new rhythm to make you dance and enjoy the Sun and the Beach, only when staying at Las Palomas you’ll be able to enjoy their Reggae performance in one of their 2 Pool Bars, Salutte I and II are featuring Agua de Coco from 12 to 4 pm on Saturdays, Happy Hour from 12-1 and 5 to 6… Sounds like fun!
If you are not staying at Las Palomas but still want to move your body to the beat of Salsa and Latin Jazz, you are welcome to enjoy one of the great promos at Citron in the Lobby Phase II, with the band performing from Thursday thru Saturday during dinner time starting at 6.
On Saturdays the party is not over with them, you get a 3rd chance to dance the night out at Barullo SB, the recently renovated nightclub at Calle 13.
Agua de Coco is a local band that has been around since 2011, one of their first presentations was at the Festival Internacional Cervantino in its Rocky Point Edition in October of the same year. Some of the members of the band used to play with La Culebra, which was also one of the favorite salsa bands a few years ago in town.
With this fresh concept Agua de Coco has gained a lot of popularity within locals and visitors and with their great music they offer a very different way of enjoying the nightlife in Rocky Point.
