If you are looking for a place to come and celebrate Valentine’s Day, Puerto Penasco certainly is the place to be.  Plan a romantic dinner at any of our great restaurants that have been here for awhile or check out the new ones that have recently opened.  You won’t be disappointed in whatever place you choose.

Garufa:  They will be offering their full menu for you and your sweetheart as well as having something for all the ladies. If you haven’t been to Garufa yet, this is a restaurant that has something for everyone’s taste buds.  You will love their outstanding prime cut steaks as well as seafood and pasta dishes. Mermaid Margarita: Located in the Old Port (formally the Satisfied Frog) will be offering up some great Valentine’s Day Specials. They will start the Valentine Day early with their Wine and appetizer tasting on Thursday February 11th. Enjoy some great food and music while watching the sunset on the Sea of Cortez on Valentine’s Day.

Mar Blue on Sandy Beach will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on February 14th with live music and a Special Chef’s Dinner. Always a crowd pleaser,  Mar Blue features a great selection of wines as well as a beautiful view of the Sea of Cortez.  Due to Covid protocol, the will be serving at 2:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.  Reservations are suggested, so please call 638-383-0605 to make your reservation.

Boo Bar: Located in the Old Port:  Enjoy Valentines Day with this special pizza and 2 Margaritas while enjoying the view of the Sea of Cortez from their patio.  This pizza is as good as it looks and they will also be having their regular menu available.  Great drinks, food and service upstairs above the fish market.

The Blue Marlin: Located in the Old Port. They will be serving up their Extravaganza Seafood Dinner for 2 and it will consist of different types of Clams, Scallops, Mussels, Calamari and Fish. Reservations are a must so please contact them at 638-383-6564. Dinner will be served from 4:00 pm to 9:30 p.m. Try their margaritas or enjoy a bottle of wine with dinner.

El Tapeo: El Tapeo is located in the Laos Mar Best  Western Hotel across from Playa Bonita.  They feature great food and service as well as a huge selection of some of the best wines from Mexico.  Valentine’s Day they will be serving their regular menu plus they will be having “Special Wine by the bottle” prices.  If you prefer artisan beer, this is the place to go for a outstanding craft beer.  Come sit and enjoy in one of the new giant wine barrel areas, the patio or inside.

Manny’s Beach Club and Tequila Bar: Manny’s which is located in the Mirador area will be featuring a Heart Shaped Pizza, pasta and dessert for Valentine’s Day while the Tequila Bar which is in the Old Port, will be featuring a Surf and Turf for 2 on Valentine’s Day which includes an appetizer and dessert  for only $30.00 USD.  While enjoying good food and drinks you can also enjoy the Sea of Cortez during your meal as both are on the water.  Doesn’t get any better! Ask about the take out Heart shaped pizza specials.
